Coast excursions are an hour and a half round trip, this includes a layover in the town opposite from where you board. This is a great time to disembark and explore the town, play on the beach, get an ice cream cone, or shop in the variety of boutiques. Dinner Trains are a three hour round-trip from Garibaldi to Wheeler with views of Tillamook Bay, the Pacific Ocean, and Nehalem Bay. Due to the increasing ridership reservations are recommended, but not required. Tickets can be purchased and picked up onboard the green caboose 30 minutes prior to departure. Please note: The minimum age for all locomotive cab riders is 7 years old. Riders under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Locomotive cab riders must be physically able to enter and exit the locomotive cab without assistance. OCSR reserves the right to refuse a locomotive cab ride if the crew feels an unsafe condition exists. |
